Le Pressoir August 2014 Having spent ages looking for the right place for our family holiday we definitely found it in La Gasteboisiere (Le Pressoir). Our family of four including two boys aged seven and four were warmly greeted by our hosts Paul and Dee.The gite was comfortable and well equipped and had puzzles and books to keep the boys entertained. The welcoming brioche was a big hit with all the family with several more being consumed during the week!The gardens are extensive and superbly maintained and perfect for families of all ages with plenty to do including swimming, croquet and petanque. The small island at the bottom of the garden was a particular hit with our boys.The property also boasts a fantastic play barn with fantastic activities including darts, snooker, billiards, bouncy castle and ball pit. There is something for everyone in the play barn.Throughout our stay Paul and Dee were on hand to offer advice on trips out or just to have a friendly chat. We had a fantastic holiday here - it is truly five star and we hope to return one day.

Sables d'Or Les Pins. My family & I returned earlier this month from our 5th visit to this very spacious & well equipped house.It is so beautifully located on the rise above the village & offers some lovely views across the sea to little Mont St Michel & some stunning sunsets.Thank you again, Paul & Dee for renting us the house that allows all the family such enjoyable seaside holidays.

Le Pressoir, Normandy Just back from a terrific holiday. The facilities are great, especially for a family with young children who loved running around the huge gardens, mucking about on the bouncy castles, swimming and, best of all, spending hours in the play barn (away from parents!). 45 minutes away from Le Mont St Michel and lots of nice beaches. Thoroughly recommended.Thanks for being such good hosts (and thanks a million for the baby-sitting and taxi service).

Great holiday Thank you for a great holiday. The Pressoir suited our needs and the facilities were amazing. Great to have the games barn for evening entertainment (and on the one rainy morning) and the pool when it was sunny. We also loved the golf which provided some interesting challenges! Good location for visiting the area too. We would certainly recommend to friends as ideal for children of all ages.

Our Holiday Paul and Dee were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and went above and beyond. Our children loved all the play equipment, feeding the ducks (and the rabbits and fish) and the pool was a great addition on sunny days. Our gite was comfy, clean and tidy, and it was great to find the cupboards stocked on arrival with tea, coffee and sugar, as well as bread, milk and jam! We all hope to be back very soon. What a wonderful holiday we had in the cottage. Very helpful owners Paul & Dee, great accommodation, the playbarn for the kids and the huge garden, ... We had a very nice time, despite the weather. Paul and Dee did everything they could to compensate the bad weather (toys, movies, ...). The kids (6 and 3) loved it and thanks to Dee's babysitting we had the opportunity to have on off the best dinners ever in a restaurant nearby.

The Cottage and Le Pressoir We have just returned from a week at Paul and Dee?s gites having had a wonderful relaxing time. Our family came with us so we had both properties. The weather was beautiful enabling us to take full advantage of the amazing grounds and facilities. The grandchildren loved the swimming pool, the guys loved the golf and the girls just generally relaxed! We didn?t really need to ask for anything but both Paul and Dee were generally on hand to answer any questions. We spent all our time outside but had we needed to use it the play barn would have been an excellent addition to the whole experience. I am sure the family will visit again.

Perfect Location Perfect Location - We were returning guests and once again we were not disappointed. The accomodation in Sables d'Or Les Pins is very versatile for a large group. It is well equipped with everything we needed. It's clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with the added bonus of a games room. The location is stunning with magnificent views, ideal for days on the beach which is a short walk away as are the facilities such as the restaurants and the bakery. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We hope to return again next year.

Again a nice holiday Back after 3 years, and again we had a lovely stay in the cottage the past 2 weeks. Paul and Dee did everything they could to help us were needed. We and our kids (6 and 8) enjoyed every minute of our holiday. A lot of things to see and do nearby (max. 1h30' drive to visit Caen, St-Malo, Dinan, ...)and in case of bad weather a lot to do on the premises.

Sables d'or les Pins Having just spent a week in your lovely house, we want to thank you Paul for all your help.We thoroughly recommend the house. It is very spacious and extremely well equipped. Everything that we needed was there. The south facing balcony was well used, the sun was good, but the wind not!We travelled with our son and his famly of four boys, and all had a good time.The situation is very good for visiting the beaches, which are quite amazing. The cottage Dear Paul & DeeThank you for a lovely 2 weeks. The setting is beautiful and our son loved the games room, saying it is the best one ever! The pool is lovely, and we enjoyed feeding the fish! We wanted for nothing and hardly needed to move off site all week apart from trips to buy bread and pastries!! Normandy holiday Just a message to say thank you to Paul and Dee for a lovely week spent at The Cottage in Normandy. The gite was spacious and comfortable. We all (Mum, Dad & 2 teenage boys) really enjoyed The barn with its great facilities and the golf greens and pool. Highlights of the week were seeing the Tour de France pass through Brecey and,of course,feeding the rabbits,ducks,fish and the cat!

Le Pressoir was full of character and very well equipped. Although a rural location there was plenty to see and do in the area, with a small sized town only a short drive away. The Cottage - Sep 2015 We (family of 3) spent a week at this lovely Normandy property in September. The house and garden was lovely and the hosts, Paul and Dee, were very welcoming and helpful. The setting is rural and therefore very peaceful - but there are plenty of options for day trips and sightseeing within 30-60 min. drive in all directions. Would definitely recommend and would like to return in the future if we have the chance to do so.

Lovely holiday We have just returned from a week in Normandy, staying at the Pressoir. The gite was lovely - very cosy and well equipped. It is in a fantastic location with stunning views and conveniently situated for towns, beaches and attractions for children. The facilities for children were great -our son loved the play barn and the outdoor playground. Paul, Dee and family were so welcoming and friendly and our son, Ethan, really enjoyed playing with Rocky the kitten and is still missing him despite being back in the UK for several days! We would definitely recommend the gite to our friends and hope to visit again soon. Joe, Sarah and Ethan.

The Cottage & Le Pressoir We've just got home from a wonderful family holiday at The Cottage and Le Pressoir. Thank you Paul and Dee for letting us stay at your beautiful gites. The set up was perfect for 6 adults and 2 children with clean, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. Everything was perfect. Its a shame that the weather didn't allow us to make full use of the pool and garden (stunning setting) but we certainly had an amazing time in the Play Barn. It was an absolute gem of a find. Dee and Paul thank you again for your generous hospitality including welcome pack (very thoughtful) and letting us share your beautiful corner of Normandy.
